Giles completed his Masters of Architecture at the University of Newcastle, graduating with honours in 2015.

During his studies he worked at EJE, across a range of scales and typologies. After graduating, Giles joined Bijl Architecture, working primarily on high-end boutique residential projects, gaining significant experience across all project stages, including leading multiple projects through construction. After a year of living overseas working free-lance for a variety of architects, Giles joined Collins and Turner in 2021 and has been working across residential and public projects. Giles is a registered Architect in NSW and has also been a casual academic tutor at UTS and UNSW.
